How does your business grow?

When small businesses do well, so does the economy. In the late 1980s, this idea bore a concept named Economic Gardening right here in Colorado. The City of Littleton developed the concept as a means to offset local job loss.

The idea behind Economic Gardening is simple. But the success of its goal is imperative. That is, help businesses succeed. Today, Economic Development organizations across the country model a concept that began twenty years ago.

As we continue to look for new and effective ways to strengthen our own communities, Douglas County has developed an Economic Gardening program. This program is designed to help local business with competitive analysis, market research, resources referrals, as well as other key business matters.

"Thank you so much for the report. Great information in a great presentation! I'm going to forward it to corporate. I think they'll being doing cart wheels to get so much info on one of their few corporate stores." and "Wow! Thanks so much. You certainly located more apartment complexes than I did on Google. This will be a valuable tool."
